 Vijay Devarakonda and Puri Jagannath's 'Ligar' released yesterday (August 25) amid huge expectations and got negative talk. But with the buzz created on the Vijay-Puri combo, the advance bookings were huge. Everyone thought that if the talk is good, the collections will come in the range of star hero movies. But despite the negative talk, it got good openings due to advance bookings. With 'Liger', Vijay became the Tier-2 hero who got the highest share on the first day in Telugu states. Earlier, 'Smart Shankar' was at the top with a share of Rs.7.73 crores, now 'Liger' is at the top with a share of Rs.9.57 crores. It is a privilege to be the director of these two films.
